One in 10 Million


While hunting jack rabbits up the canyon near the Sand Ledges,we spotted this black as coal jack rabbit. Brody hit it in the foot and we tracked it up and I was able to finish it off. I later checked into things and learned this is a rare melanistic mutation which is far more rare than an albino rabbit. I am not sure just how rare but a biologist told me its one in millions.
