Sage Grouse Lek




     Fall is my favorite time of the year, but spring time in the wild is pretty darn cool too. I came across a sage grouse lek while shed hunting. The males strut  and fight like tom turkeys. The hens fly in and pick which male is the most dominant to mate with them. These birds are close to being listed as a endangered species.
