Gobble, Gobble 2015

Brody's 1st Tom

     Brody has been on a two year quest to harvest a turkey. Last year he couldn't seal the deal. Several close calls with some smart old birds. This year we were at it again only this time he put the hammer down on a big ole mountain Merriam. We had to crawl on our hands an knees to place this hen in the meadow. We pulled his flock over to us but he was working another bird on the other side. We were able to sneak over and ambush him. He had an 8" beard and nice spurs.
