Bron's First Muley 2020



        Bron did not draw a deer tag his first year when he was 12. We were able to get an over-the-co counter archery permit though om the Manti. He got several stalks and shots off at bucks with his bow. It was a ton of fun! He even hit a two point through the jaw with an arrow which I am sure the buck survived his wound. He didn't end up harvesting a buck on that hunt. Later that fall, Bron's first buck of his life was his whitetail buck he killed in Ohio. This season he had a muzzleloader Manti tag.

       Bron and I hiked down into the east side of the Big Shoe in the dark with BJ and Brax. Bron was able to take his first muley and Brax shot his second buck. both within a half hour and 150 yards from each other. It was an exciting stalk! We had BJ and Brax bump this buck up to us. He had no clue we were sitting in ambush on his escape route. Bron shot him at 9 yards and he piled up in front of us on a big bush. Bron was so overwhelmed with success that he started to tear up for a minute. It was a special father and son moment and fun times with cousins.
